There was yet another bicycle pilgrimage to the Krekhiv Monastery of St. Nicholas taking place
Another bicycle pilgrimage to the Krekhiv Basilian Monastery of St. Nicholas was taking place on the 28th of July 2012. Approximately 25 participants took part in the pilgrimage; they were joined by and received assistance from women of the parish community “Myrrh-Bearing Women”. This was reported by Mykhailo Biletskyi.
The pilgrims departed from Yaniv cemetery, which is in Lviv, in the direction of Briukhovychi; having passed through Birky, they reached the pilgrimage place in Krekhiv, where, after a short rest, they visited the healing spring and the cave monastery. Afterwards, the pilgrims prayed together in a wooden church of the Protection, located on the territory of the house of prayer. Following the divine service, the novice-brother Taras Kushpit conducted a guided tour for the participants of the bicycle pilgrimage.
The pilgrimage stay in the Krekhiv Monastery finished with the delicious dinner, shared pictures, as well as, with the gratitude to the Basilian Fathers and Brothers.
