The president of Ukraine signed a decree awarding eight state awards of Ukraine in the field of architecture in 2008 for persons who took part in the planning and construction of Holy Spirit Seminary in Lviv. The press-service of the head of the country informed Hal-info about this.

On June 4, 2008, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium Yaroslav Koval' in written form congratulated Priest-monk Oleh Zimak on the occasion of receiving the legal status of Ukrainian pastor of Brussels of the UGCC before the Belgian state authorities.
35. A bookstore of the Misioner (“Missionary”) Publishing House of the Basilian Fathers has been opened in Lviv

On June 10, 2008, in Lviv, the Most Rev. Ihor (Voznyak) Archbishop of Lviv, blessed the bookstore of the Misioner (“Missionary”) Publishing House of the Basilian Fathers. So Kostyantyn Chavaga reported for Radio Vatican. The bookstore is located on two floors of a building which is near the Basilian Monastery of Saint Onufrius. Speaking to the participants, Archbishop Ihor noted that spiritual literature should help us live correctly, in a Christian way, and sanctify our souls through reading spiritual literature and reflecting on the Word of God.

On June 23-27, 2008, at the retreat center of the Curia of the Lviv Archeparchy (Lviv-Bryukhovychi, Shyrika St., 4), the third scholarly-practical seminar “In the footsteps of the good Samaritan,” under the direction of Fr. Arnaldo Pangrazzi, PhD., professor at the International Institute for the Theology of Pastoral Health Care (Camillianum) in Rome, Italy, will be held.
